Kingdom Hearts II

Hello today I got KH2 (note: I didn't say Purchase :P) I haven't gotten to far yet, but it is simply an amazing game. The battle system for the most part is the same as KH1 but they have some new features (and summons as well)
The story is very interesting as well! It's a very good game thus far (and I only played for a few hours) and I do recommened you purchase this game if you do have a PS2. If you haven't played KH1 I suggest you do before
you buy this game, it's almost a direct sequel, if you never have played it, you will be VERY confused. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for Gameboy Advance would also help if you played and beat it, but KH2 is managable w/o never playing that game.

Should you get the Xbox 360?

by: Colette Ianieri

The XBox 360 is going to be one of the most sought after gifts of this upcoming holiday season. However many people want to know is it worth upgrading now, or should you wait, here are some factors you may want to consider.

The base price for and XBox 360 is $300, the most common accessories are the 20GB hard drive ($100), wireless controllers ($50) and headsets ($20). Many vendors are offering packages with a variety of options with prices of $500 or more. While some of these options depend on your gaming style and preferences the hard drive is the one option we recommend you get right away. The hard drive allows you to save games to play back later and install updates that make many older games compatible on the new platform.

One of the advantages the XBox 360 will have over other game systems is graphics. The graphics of other gaming systems are top notch but on newer games like Project Gotham Racing 3, NFL 06 and Call of Duty 2 which were written for this platform, there simply is no comparison. When you compare the specifications the XBox 360 to any of its competitors, it’s anywhere from 2 to 10 times more powerful. If you are lucky enough to own and HDTV you will really notice the difference, although it will work on standard TV’s as well.

With this console Microsoft is also making a concerted effort to make the Xbox part of your media center. It can connect to any other windows networked computer in your house. It can be used to play movies, slideshows of pictures, and MP3 files. If you own and IPod or digital camera you can also connect them directly to the USB port located on the front game console.

Lastly you’ll want to think about Xbox Live. This is a paid online membership that allows you to get free trials of new games and play in head to head action against other players over your high speed internet connection. You also have access to updates and patches as they become available.

For hard core gamers there is no choice, they will do practically anything to get their hands on the newest and latest systems available. For others it may be worth waiting until 2006 when Playstation 3 is released to see how platforms compare.

The Best Trading Cards for an Affordable Price

Okay, this may not be "video-gaming" but this is still "gaming".

I found a site that offers you the best cards in many games such as Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, Lord of the Rings, DBZ, etc for an affordable price.

Go here to access the site.

I've shopped there multiple times and am pleased with their service.

-Note: This is an unrelated post, I will have another enriching post for you guys tommorrow still!

Belkin N52 Gamepad

I just wanted to make a short review for this wonderful product. I got this product around 3 months ago after reading great reviews about it. I finnaly ordered it from amazon.com one day and when I recieved it I was so happy. At first, I hated this piece of crap, I couldn't get use to it, I tried to find profiles online to download and couldn't find one for games I wanted, and I just got frustrated so I decided to take a long break of using it. After a month or two, I decided "What the heck, let me retry this product." Instead of downloading other peoples profiles, I decided to make my own to utlize this product, and It did help me in gaming alot, and having my own setup made it 10x easier to manevuer in ALL types of games rather then using a regular keyboard. I also at first got mad because in FPS games I would use the spacebar to jump, and with the N52 gamepad, the space bar is hard to access with the thumb, but that is when I found the use of the thumb wheel, it is a great feature of this product.

It makes crouching, proning, and jumping very easy via FPS games. I press down on the thumb weel when I want to go prone, left to crouch, and up to jump. For some games I use the right button to switch to secondary weapon.

You can also make your own standard WSAS format with this gamepad to.

After tweaking and suiting it for my own liking, I have to say this product, is one of the best invente. I use this with the Logitech G5 Laser mouse and it makes me an excellenct gamer!
